It does sometimes take a couple of applications and working time is short, plus you need some ventilation. For larger gaps, two part epoxy is better. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great entry level filler *by M***L on 3 January 2020* This is an idea filler putty for plastic and even balsa wood models. It's a little less forgiving than Tamiya Basic Putty, with a quick drying time, and dries a little softer and is sometimes brittle after curing. This makes it slightly less effective for creating Zimmerit patterns on tanks, but is ideal for mottling and roughing the surface of plastics to create a more realistic "metal effect" finish. For plastic, it can be mixed with poly cement to give a slightly longer working time, and greater adhesion. For balsa, mixing it with a clear balsa cement will give you a firmer drying finish that's more receptive to sanding. For the price point, it can't be beat.
