Review: Joseph Joseph Dish Drainer - This is the 2nd of this style of Joseph Joseph Basin and it is a brilliant design, very good quality, sturdy, it has strong handles to lift out of sink even if full of soapy water, there is a drainer plug in the bottom to let the water out easily and the plug catches any bits of foodstuff or whatever that you don’t want going down the plug hole, it was a reasonable price but tbh even if it was more expensive we are happy to buy it because it is such a fantastic product to use

**Q: What is the actual point of it**
A: It saves water. I have one in my sink at home and in the caravan. It's great if you are cleaning and need water when there is a tap nowhere near, just take the sink with you. Incidentally, you turn the plug to close it, not push it down like the usual sink plugs that let all the water out 🤔

**Q: Hi is it dishwasher safe**
A: It says in the write up wash regularly with hot soapy water. I have never put mine in the dishwasher - for one thing it’s a bit bulky.

**Q: Where (which country) is this made in?**
A: I have absolutely no idea!  Most things these days are made in China.  I suggest you contact the Company Joseph Joseph directly.

**Q: Hi, is this the same size on the bottom as it is on the top?? Thank you**
A: Hi it is very slightly larger at the top, but only slightly.

This is the 2nd of this style of Joseph Joseph Basin and it is a brilliant design, very good quality, sturdy, it has strong handles to lift out of sink even if full of soapy water, there is a drainer plug in the bottom to let the water out easily and the plug catches any bits of foodstuff or whatever that you don’t want going down the plug hole, it was a reasonable price but tbh even if it was more expensive we are happy to buy it because it is such a fantastic product to use

Very happy with the washing up bowl. Attractive, the perfect size for my sink and nice water release gizmo on the bowl.

While it might seem very expensive for a washing up bowl, this is highly functional and actually quite aesthetic too. The plug/drainer forms a brilliant seal, and I'm trusting enough now to remove it from the sink onto the counter when full of water - providing lots of flexibility in working space! It's great for soaking (I've been using it for hand washing clothes), and the handles make it easy to clean and rinse out. It also drains very well, leaving very little water in the bowl. Very happy.
