One said it was a liquid and the other said it was a balm. Which is it?** A: Abe G's answer is incorrect. I ordered based on his answer thinking it was a transparent liquid. This particular balm is opaque white. Similar to a skin lotion but thinner. It is hard to tell from white product on a white background in the photo. It is not a transparent liquid aftershave such as aqua velva. **Q: The ingredients listed in the picture are different from the ingredients listed under Important Information. Which is the correct list?** A: The front label on my bottle does have anything concerning sensitive skin. The top of the front label has dark green and white strips. The label itself is in Italian. The English translation on the back indicates, "After Shave Toning Lotion with Eucalyptus Oil and Menthol." I find it to be very refreshing with a subtle aroma. My skin is fairly sensitive but I have had no problem with this lotion. I reviewed how I was doing it, I threw the disposable razors and the areosol shaving gel away and bought an old fashioned safety razor, a quality shaving brush and some Ingram shaving cream. I now look forward to shaving and afterwards my skin looks and feels so much better. I always used to use Nivea after shave balm when I shaved the using disposable blades which was OK, very good in fact, but I started to develop an allergy to it. I have tried several others and indeed a Tesco's own brand product was very good and similar to Proaso, but they discontinued it. This Proaso seems to be an Italian product and I was told about it by a work colleague, I have been using it for a while now, I'm on my second bottle. It is more expensive but a little goes a long way. It does the job and leaves a pleasant residual smell that people seem to like. There is no greasiness and it is absorbed quickly. I am allergic to many things but so far so good with this stuff.
