Review: Beautiful quality stained glass effect but a little tricky to apply. - So this is beautiful quality and looks so effective. I used it on my front door to add a bit of colour on a very plain white PVC door with a large glass section. The glass was already frosted on my door but you cannot even see the frosting through this film because the pattern is so strong and the Privacy of the film is top-notch. You have to get right up close to see the frosting of the glass. The film is sticky, whereas other ones I’ve used are applied using water. This means it’s a little more difficult to get it just perfect because once it’s stuck down, it’s a nightmare to get off so if you get it wrong the first time, it’s a bit of a battle to correct it. I found that it was easiest to measure the size of the window and cut down, then I removed the backing paper and stuck in the middle of the window first and used a credit card to push out to the edges. I then used a sharp crafting knife to run along the edge of the glass where it met the plastic to get it to fit as closely as possible. I think it lets a decent amount of lighting, but it definitely does reduce the light that’s letting into a room so wouldn’t recommend using it on a window that already doesn’t get much light as it may darken your room. It does look absolutely beautiful on my front door and it’s been complimented by various People.

**Q: Does this product provide privacy and can you see through it at all, once it has been applied?**
A: Hello. Yes it gives privacy, I can't see through it, but the light comes through. It also looks lovely in the evening from outside when we have lights on. 

**Q: Mixed reviews,our door gets lot light through&need keep hall bright.will this do that or darken?also is it very washed out faded colour with daylight?**
A: It will let the light through but it does look washed out when stuck on a window and isn't a very good imitation of stained glass.

**Q: Is it waterproof as I want to put it on my shed windows and worried when it rains colours will run**
A: the answer i can give u is i put it on my main door glass as it have a window bit big but its not from the outside from inside its nice but no rain can go on it

A: Can be trimmed to any size you want. Cuts easily with scissors before installation, grid on back helps. Or cut with a Stanley knife immediately after installation. Can use up a lot if pattern matching, but I have done it without and it’s not too noticeable.
