Review: Best charger I have ever owned! - This is a video review of the Iceworks 5000mah dual inbuilt cable portable charger. Now I'm sure like most of people who are watching this video review you will have tried many different portable chargers over the last few years - the cylinder shaped chargers which are advertised as "lipstick sized" - although the reality is that they are much larger than a lipstick when you receive it and that requires you to purchase a separate lightning connector cable, or some of the larger chargers which feel like you are carrying a 1980's mobile phone from Cellnet, rather than a portable phone charger! The reality with those is that although they hold a good amount of charge, they are just too bulky for a day out. Recently I had purchased a lipstick type charger & tried it out with a really short length lightning cable that you can purchase on desertcart. What I found was that although the small cable was more convenient & fitted in my jeans pockets without too much hassle, I found that the cable would get bent in my pocket, so over time the wires inside the cable would actually break. Now i actually got through about 6 of these short cables in about the same number of months - had tried different brands, normal type of rubber coated cables, flat cables and braided ones, but all would stop working over time. Just glad I have an desertcart account & their returns policy is second to none. Anyway, I came across a PC Magazine review of the top iPhone portable phone chargers & the Iceworks came top so decided to order. And now that Ive owned one for the past 3 months, i can see why. What sets this portable charger apart from the competition are 3 key features for me. The first is the size. As you can see, this charger is incredibly well designed in terms of size & weight, weight being 259 grammes and size is 13 x 0.8 x 6.5 cm so you can see how flat it is - and it fits really well inside my jeans pocket, or suit jacket pocket, so its great for a night out when I'm running out of battery & i want to send my wife a drunken "I love you so much" text - or to ask her is she can pick me up from the pub! The second & for me this is the absolute killer feature that wipes the floor with all the competition, is that it has 2, yes 2 integrated charging cables - one with a micro USB connection (which I know other portable chargers have got, but what they don't have and what the Iceworks one does is that it also has a lightning connector cable integrated into the charger as well. I've tried other portable chargers that have the micro usb charging cable and they then provide you with a lightning dongle that fits on top of the micro usb cable, but they are really unreliable and over time they stop working. I have also misplaced one which is easy to do considering how small they are and its another thing you have to carry around with you. Which is why the Iceworks portable charger is so much better, because everything you need is integrated - so there is no risk of you forgetting the cable, or forgetting the lightning dongle. As you can see these cables are so well integrated into the charger, they have clearly put a lot of thought into the design & I've got to say its probably one of the best iPhone accessories I have owned, if not the best. The 3rd feature that is really good is when you press the button to start charging, it displays how much charge is left in the pack. 4 lights lit, means fully charged, 2 lights means 50% remaining. Fully charged is 5000mah, now I know because I looked it up before posting this review that the iPhone 6s has a capacity of 1715mah, so at best you should get almost 3 additional charges out of this power pack. My experience is that you definitely get 2 full charges for your iPhone 6s out of this pack & I have never been away from home or a hotel room long enough to have to want to recharge my iPhone more than twice. So in summary, I have been using this charger for 3 months. Aside from my 10,000 mah brick that I own that I use for camping, this has replaced all other chargers I have owned. Its so small, light and thin, that it fits nicely in my jeans pocket, so great for a day out without having to worry about my phone battery running out. The lightning and micro usb cables are integrated into the charger, so its a nice tidy solution that means I wont forget that all so important cable (cos I've done that before with other chargers and there is nothing more frustrating!) and I really like the indicator showing me how much charge is left This charger gets 5 stars from me & definitely the best portable charger I have owned.
Review: A First Class Portable Charger - This really is a wonderful portable charger. It is a beautifully designed, elegant, piece of technology. It's very light and slim, with built-in cables for both Apple and Android. It is also very simple to use. After charging it up with the provided USB lead, there are 4 blue LEDS which show you how much power is available. After connecting to a phone or tablet etc., press the 'on' button and the LEDs will light up. Once you have un-connected items from the charger, it turns itself off after a short time. The in-built cables mean that I no longer have to carry extra leads around and they tuck away very cleverly so will not get bent or damaged when the charger is rattling around in a bag. It is ideal for me; it will charge my iPhone with the Lightning connector, and I can use the Micro-USB cable to charge my camera and Kindle. It is a very stylish design - something I do care about - and definitely the best portable charger I have ever had. The company are extremely good to deal with - friendly and extremely efficient.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Why I gave 4 stars rating.
*by A***R on 11 August 2016*

I have received the product well & good as explained on the description, few positive things about it: + 5000mAh which should be powerful enough for a good charge. + With it's cleverly attached / designed multi-cables it can charge two devices at the same time. No need to carry additional cables (which I forget to take with me often) + An indicator of charge status. + Very lightweight and elegant design. Few points of improvement: - Surface is not sold, it is plastic hence could easily break if fall once or can be scratched, a metal coating and small cover could help from scretch. - Price could be bit lower say around £15. Verdic: I just got it few days ago, and so far it is performing well, however, I haven't tested its actual performance yet, and if I do then I might as well write another review on it later. Hence I just kept it's rating on 4 star. The remaining star is for its resistance or performance decay over day-to-day use. One design suggestion for future version: When a charger needs charging then one has to have a micro usb cable to charge it. A short extension of a micro usb(thin usb) cable also could be attached to the device to solve the problem making it completely extra-cable-free! All three cables can be attached reverse way just like the other two!
