It was well packaged but unfortunately the lid was damaged somehow. I am not very impressed as this is not the pot I wanted. I really wanted the same one as the picture.

**Q: can i use it on electric hobs and whats the max temperature I can use it in?**
A: I use these to cook with in the oven at 200 degrees centigrade, for 30-35 mins st s time, have domes that a few times now. No problems reported so far

**Q: Hi, it is the first time I have been using a clay pot. Is it suitable for boiling rice, pasta and for electric hobs? Does it need special cleanings?**
A: Sorry but I only use it as a serving dish. It just gets cleaned with the rest of the tableware.
