Oils are the last item to put on your face,if you are using other products for skincare as well as the oil. The reason is that oil seals the skin against other products. This oil can be used alone as it contains many valuable nutrients for the skin. I find it great for protection against winter's worst weather. It really helps very dry skin,chapped skin and can be used as a bath oil and a make up remover. Just a little goes a long way. **Q: Does this product have a shelf life?** A: Yes, as any other oils it will denaturalise with time. But been cold pressed oil it keeps it's properties longer than other oils that are not cold pressed. I am extremely happy with this product and would highly recommend it. **Q: Im a little confused. Can i put on my daily moisturiser (cream) then add the rosehip oil? Is this how it works?** A: Any oil is occlusive, so you always apply any oil as the last step of your skincare routine. Oil can penetrate moisturiser but moisturiser will never penetrate oil. All skincare products should be layered lightest to heaviest, ie serum and then moisturiser, then oil.
