It’s easy to put up, just take it out of the bag and it pops up on its own, make sure you hold it at arms length or throw it on the floor when you undo it from the bag because it pops up with a bit of force. I like that it’s got a front and back opening. If you want a bit of shade but still want a breeze, the front and back opening will accommodate that. The side windows have mesh for ventilation too and also has material that rolls down for privacy so that you can use the shelter to get changed in. Tried to set it up but can't see how the small bags of sand and rope will hold the sides out. I have up** A: The pop up frame is quite hardy and equal to or better than a small beach tent that you have to erect by threading and joining individual rods. It easily keeps its shape. Trust me the weight of filling the four pockets with sand is far superior than attempting to secure it with steel tent pegs ,into loose sand. Worth every penny ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bought for beach holiday - failed on 2nd use *by P***S on 31 July 2023* Bought for our recent holiday to Cornwall to keep young kids shaded when required. 1st use was great, excellent tent. Easy to set up and pack away (once practiced without wind!). We got the large version, and plenty of room, we even put the babies pushchair inside and plenty of space for a couple of people too. Unfortunately on our 2nd days use, in maybe slightly above average windy conditions one of the flat metal bars flexed and bent the wrong way, causing the tent to collapse on one side. This made it almost impossible to fold away again.
