Review: Sturdy and great for crafts! Didn't hurt my head and can be adjusted in size! - I had asked if they were able to be cut down to size but received no answer so I purchased them and tried it and with some wire cutters and needle nose pliers it is possible and worked well. The teeth are similar metal to that used in jewelry making or wire wrapping so its easier to cut and bend to the right shape. The flat bar that holds the teeth is much sturdier so it's a bit harder to cut. As they came they would be great for decorating or a veil. The only thing I noticed was the wire of the teeth would slide off one end or the other if you tried to squish the teeth together to much though it was a simple fix. I found sewing my material on to them was easier than with the plastic ones. They also did not hurt my scalp as some do. Great product!

**Q: How do you attach these to a tiara? I have a tiara I love but it has those holes to attach using bobby pins, but I'd prefer to have a comb on it.**
A: These combs are not sturdy to attach anything to them. Did not stay put in my hair and I returned them.

**Q: Can i cut these down to a smaller size?**
A: I would not think that you could cut them down

**Q: Will these hold in a French twist? Medium long hair**
A: I’ve used them for that purpose and reinforced with a few BOBBIE pins as my hair is ver fine .  If you have thick hair they should be fine.  It’s all about type of hair and how secure they will be, I think.  But that’s just my humble opinion.  I really like these combs and use them a lot to hold up the hair in the back when I wear a pony tail etc too.
