These are definitely sturdy (will do well in the garage) while not being heavy, can fit quite a bit, and are easy to pick up and move around. I got the 15 gallon size because the storage shelving I have in my garage doesn't allow for the larger size bins. These fit perfectly and are a much better alternative to cardboard boxes which can rot in the summer heat in a garage, as well as are too easy for "critters" to get into if they find their way in! If I had needed more, I would have bought the "six pack" for a better value, but for the price and what I needed these definitely fit the bill!! Whether your storing Christmas decorations, sports equipment, clothing, momentos...you can be sure these will protect them. Review: Great storage bins - First order, I was given the wrong storage boxes. They got me the right boxes in two days. Amazing customer service! The storeage bins are great, lid snaps on easy and secure and they stack on each other very well. 100% suggest them to others. ## Features - Plastic Storage Bins: Be the boss of your home and garage with our 15-gallon tote set. This 6-piece storage box set will let you master any mess and become the king or queen of organization. - Size Matters: Each rugged tote measures 26" L x 17.75" W x 12.25" H and is made from shatter-, dent-, and blemish-resistant material. It features a hinged flip lid and convenient 4-way handles. - We'll Make It Fit: These plastic boxes are space-saving and stackable, so you can take your holiday decor, tools, or back-scratcher collection (we don't judge) to new heights. - From Trash to Treasure: Life in plastic is fantastic when the plastic is made from 90% recycled materials. We know the earth is important to you, so our totes are good for your items and the planet. - HOMZ for Your Home: From organization to storage, we have the container that you are looking for. Allow us to make your house a HOMZ. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B06ZY7T5NT | | Assembly Instructions Description | No assembly required | | Best Sellers Rank | #45,864 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #50 in Storage Boxes #116 in Lidded Home Storage Bins | | Brand | HOMZ | | Brand Name | HOMZ | | Capacity | 15 gallons | | Closure Type | Snap | | Color | Black Base/Yellow Lid | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,072 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 10073527171024 | | Included Components | Tote(2) | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 26"L x 17.75"W x 12.25"H | | Item Type Name | Durabilt Totes, 15 Gallon, Black, 2-Pack | | Item Weight | 5.1 pounds | | Manufacturer | Homz | | Manufacturer Part Number | 4415BKYLDC.02 | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | 4415BKYLDC.02 | | Number of Compartments | 1 | | Number of Items | 2 | | Occasion Type | Birthday, Father'S Day, Winter Holidays, camping, fishing, hiking | | Opening Mechanism | snap lids | | Other Special Features of the Product | Dustproof | | Package Quantity | 1 | | Pattern | Solid | | Recommended Uses For Product | Outdoor Storage | | Recycled Content Percentage | 90 | | Shape | Rectangular | | Special Feature | Dustproof | | Storage Volume | 15 gallons | | Style | Tough Tote | | Style Name | Tough Tote | | UPC | 688997996119 723979100730 073527135715 | | Unit Count | 2 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Waterproof | ## Product Details - **Brand:** HOMZ - **Color:** Black Base/Yellow Lid - **Material:** Plastic - **Special Feature:** Dustproof - **Style:** Tough Tote ## Images ![HOMZ Durabilt Plastic Storage Bins with Lids, 15 Gal, Black/Yellow, 2 Pack - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61EP2IU7DLL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size, Number Of Items** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: "made in the usa" but "imported" from china. please elaborate?** A: I believe that by that they mean this; the parts were actually made in China but, they were shipped here and then assembled or "made" in the USA. **Q: Could a 200 pound person sit on it?** A: Yes, I have had someone over 200 pounds sit on it for a short time. **Q: What are the measurements for the 15 gallon tote?** A: Lid is 19-1/2 x 28-1/2 at widest. 14-1/8 x 23-1/8" footprint but it widens about an inch just over the gridded base. Bin with lid is 15" tall. 14-3/4 " tall without lid Bin interior is 16-1/2 x 20-1/2 clear at the inside top and 14 x 23 clear at the narrowest in the bottom. **Q: Food grade yes or no?** A: The lid fits tightly enough to prevent pests from getting inside. Boxed and canned food for human consumption can be stored inside and will remain dry. The plastic can be sterilized so that bulk animal food can be stored inside.
