Know what you're getting into however BEFORE you decide to purchase. I installed in a Dell Inspiron 13 laptop and it was a chore. You must completely dis-assemble the laptop and then deal with removal/re-installation of keyboard via many, many plastic rivets. Look at YT tutorials before you get started, not for the faint of heart. Mine went ok but took a bit of time. I used a small soldering iron to melt the old plastic rivet stubs. Works fine but, for some reason, the new "backlit" keyboard light doesn't work.
