I feel like this set raises much higher than that bar. The box and pieces are very good quality. It’s exactly what I needed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Game Board *by C***Z on December 27, 2022* I remember being a little girl, I would play checkers with my grandfather all the time. To this day, checkers is one of my favorite games to play with my own family. When I saw this amazing wooden game board set, I knew I wanted to get it.First, this game board set is made amazingly well. The craftsmanship is outstanding and this set is so beautiful to look at. I love that not only can you use it to play your game on, but it also becomes a storage box to keep all the pieces inside of it. I will say that the checks and cheese pieces are a little the same and they are not made out of wood. I was hoping that the pieces would be wouldn't too, but it's not that big of a deal to me. Another thing that I noticed about this game set is that the checkers don't interlock with each other whenever you have a king checker piece. It's kind of hard to keep another checker on top of the other one. Other than that, this game board set is made extremely well and I love the idea of it.
