Review: QUALITY MATTERS MOST - I hate to shop! If you've seen a number of my reviews then you know I buy ALOT from this site. I hate shopping in person. BUT.... I want quality when I buy. I tend to buy something like these bags in small quantity and try various types until I find THE PERFECT ONE! Since I hate to shop and I like quality, I tend to buy in bulk. I want to know that I have what I need when I need it! So, you can rest assured that I've tried all kinds of storage brands. These are the perfect 2 gallon bags. Why? I want bags large enough to protect my box of donuts from the bakery, several loaves of bread and more. The larger size comes in SO handy. This brand is a nice thick plastic that holds in freshness while keeping out odors. I can literally put my donuts in the 'frig right next to a cut onion and I never taste the onion. THAT matters! How easily a bag closes is an absolute deal-breaker for me. I find it frustrating as all get out to fiddle with a bag and not be able to get it to close properly OR worse.... find out it didn’t stay closed! Review: Loose Bags, Excellent Quality - This is the second time I bought this. My first box lasted over a year. When it ran out I went back to normal size boxes, but it ran out quick. This is nearly perfect, the bags are the normal high quality. NOTE: The baggies are loose in the box, this doesn't come in small boxes. You just have a big box of bags. However, the first box I got, I used an empty tissue box and turned it into a dispenser. This time I just saved a box from the last time I bought a smaller size and use that. It's really easy to just grab a handful, bend them and put them in a box, it's not a pain at all. Very worth it, very pleased and I'll be back in a year to get another!

**Q: how do i return these?  I wanted ones with zipper tab**
A: Take the box you opened to any UPS or a destination like Kohl's that sends back Amazon orders. You don't have to package it, they tend to that

**Q: Are these bags bpa free? the small boxes from the store say that they are but i can't tell if these are**
A: As far as I understand, all Ziploc bags are BPA free and so is Tupperware.

**Q: The packaging marks these as "easier grip", are they easier to open than regular Ziploc sandwich bags?"”**
A: It is easier to close.

**Q: sturdy enough for sous vide?**
A: I had to Google spud vide. I am not sure that these bags could be used for cooking. I bought these to use for the Blessing in a Backpack program where we pack pre-packaged food for 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners and snacks for weekend food for low income children and the teachers put them in the children’s backpacks. Not sure if they can take heat.
