The BLACK DIAMOND Storm 500-R is a rechargeable, waterproof LED headlamp delivering up to 500 lumens with advanced PowerTap technology and brightness memory. Featuring a durable IP67-rated housing and a sustainable recycled fabric headband, it’s designed for professional-grade outdoor activities like camping, hiking, and climbing. Compact and ergonomic, it offers multiple light modes including red and night vision, ensuring you never compromise on visibility or style.

## Description

Designed with 500 lumens for epic adventures, the Storm 500 features a durable water and dustproof housing. The Storm 500 R is powered by our BD 2400 lithium-ion battery, which is charged via a micro USB port, and features a sustainably manufactured elastic headband with recycled fabric content from Repreve. The compact housing has an ergonomic shape. The two-button control allows easy selection of modes. In addition, the revised optical efficiency not only ensures brighter light, but also saves battery life, which can now be tracked with a battery power meter (3 LEDs) for six settings. The Storm 500 R also has three different night vision modes as well as white light for close range, e.g. B. for sorting equipment before the last rope length. Memory mode stores the desired brightness setting for the next power on. The Storm 500 R's PowerTap technology allows for even faster brightness adjustment by tapping the touch-sensitive housing.
