Review: Great Meat Thermometer - I love this meat thermometer. It's simple, back to basics and it works. The numbers and lines are large enough to easily read, the appropriate meat temperatures are right on the front of the dial and the red, movable arrow which you move and place at the number the thermometer must reach for your meat, really moves and makes life easier. I had fallen out of love with these thermometers and was attracted to the fancier, battery operated ones. Forget it, I've never had one of those last any amount of time. Get back to basics with this "old fashioned" thermometer which doesn't need batteries and actually works. Dial is extra large, very easy to read and highly accurate. Highly recommend. Also, the price is right!!!

I love this meat thermometer. It's simple, back to basics and it works. These old school thermometers are wonderful! I got two in case one gets misplaced because when you need it, you need it now. I like the marker you can move on the face of the dial to help you see the temp you're trying to reach. I like how large the dial is and that it's easy to see. Very satisfied and appreciate not having to worry about a dead battery in an electric one when you need it!
