It specifies a 12v power so why can't it be on all the time?** A: Camera will have to be wired to the reverse light which will only give it power when the vehicle is in reverse. Otherwise the camera will burn up from continuous power **Q: What is the gauge of the wires that connect to positive and negative on the reverse lights?** A: Not 100% sure, but going from memory it was either 18 or 20 gauge. it was a little heavier than the wire for the light. I was able to use a red crimp connector **Q: I already have a backup camera, triggered in reverse,so will the E20 backup video activate if I connect just the video wire and not the red wire?** A: Yes it should still trigger. If not go into the setting on the radio itself.
