It honestly feels like upgrading to a completely different audio system. Before installing the amplifier, the subwoofer tended to overpower the system, making the midrange and highs sound muddy and less defined. After adding the GM-DX104, the mids and highs became much clearer and more balanced. Because of that, I actually needed to increase the subwoofer level slightly to restore the bass balance I preferred. The wiring was also very straightforward. The semi-transparent yellow wire was used for the power cable, and the semi-transparent brown wire was the ground cable, making the installation easy to understand and reducing the chance of wiring mistakes. I originally considered mounting the amplifier behind the head unit inside the center console because of its compact size. However, after considering heat dissipation, I decided to install it under the front passenger seat where there is much better airflow. It fits perfectly there while allowing plenty of ventilation.
