Jean-Patrique Stonetastic Non Stick Frying Pans – 3-Pack Granite Coating Stainless Steel Pans - Oven Safe Induction Cookware (7.8, 9.4, and 11 inch)

I was very much looking forward to using these pans, but feel seriously let down by the quality of them. I have had Jean Patrique items in the past and always found the quality without fault. For example I still use a set of knives I must have bought 20 years ago that I still use on a daily basis. I would not use anything else but these knives for chopping herbs etc. It is with a heavy heart therefore that I say that the quality of these pans is poor and frankly not worth the money. The handles are terribly thin and tinny and the edges left sharp, rather than properly finished. In stove top use the handles very quickly become too hot to touch. The base of the largest of the three pans is distinctly bowed and will spin on a flat surface. This is a new pan, never used. There is no excuse for this having passed the most basic quality control. I have previously bought cast aluminium pans and have been delighted by their performance and finish. I had expected this to be the case again, but sadly it was not.

Unfortunately the bottom of the large pan is warped and doesn't sit flat on the hob. There are also ridges around the Jean Patrique branding on the base. This causes the pan to wobble when cooking and the heat is not evenly distributed.Very, very disappointed as these are not cheap. The other 2 pans in the set are fine.

The two smaller pans have very good non stick coating but the thickness is OK but would prefer thicker.The large pan has a slight dent in the centre but the worse part is when the pan is heated, the base bows and the whole pan rocks side to side on the hot plate.All in all, I don't think I shall be going for a complete set.Alan R

With this price I was expecting a good quality set. However, the materials are very cheap. I even realised before opening the box as the box was too light for a set of 3 pans.Not worth buying it. Wouldn’t pay more than £20 for the set.

These pans are ok. Non-stick is generally fairly effective. They feel cheap though and are very light. The larger pan arrived with a base that was not flat and has warped more with use - particulary relevant for induction hobs meaning heat transfer is not efficient.
