Q: Is this camera waterproof with no need for a waterproof case?

The camera is waterproof up to 10 meters as advertised. You can purchase the diving waterproof case if you wanted to test it to it's limits I guess.

That card will be used up very very quickly, so it depends on how much footage you'll be filming. My 128gb gives me 2hours of 360 video. I also bought an extra battery as they don't last for more than a couple of hours and I do long bike rides.
