Review: You will need a 5volt usb supply - This item was used to provide an optical out tv signal. The RCA leads (sockets) was connected to 2 x RCA leads (plugs) which was then terminated with a 3.5mm jack socket. This was connected to my pc speakers with sub-woofer. Will purchase a soundbar at a later date.

I was looking to use my blueray player as a makeshift cd player by linking it to a pair of active speakers. The optical to audio converter allowed me to do this easily.

When connected to my smart TV and using Spotify it works perfectly with no issues. I go to Disney plus or Netflix and I get this horrible noise. Makes no sense why it works for one app and not another. Useless
