I love it. But there's a catch. When it's fresh, the color sheds. A lot. As others have warned: After application, don't wait in the shower for the water to run clear. If you do, you'll be that shower for a solid 2 weeks. That's how long it took before my hair stopped shedding dye on pillowcases and towels. And also for the first few weeks, do NOT get caught in a rainstorm (unless you want random blue streaks all over your clothes). That said, this color is amazing. I dyed my hair 4 months ago and it still looks fabulous. I've never had a fun hair color last this long before. The vibrant blue has faded a bit, sure, but it's now a pretty peacock-y blue-green. I still get compliments. Would I use Splat Pure Sapphire again? Absolutely. But for the first few weeks, I will be extremely careful about what my freshly dyed hair touches.
