This might be a good keychain add-on, add to a zipper, shoe laces, earrings, bracelet… I won’t need all of them, but they came in one quantity. Share them with a friend. Donate any you don’t use.

Although it seems the magnet is rather week and lining two compasses up get a better result. need to have them further than a few inches apart so that they won't interfere with one another. Good value for the price they are small, about size of a nickel and must be on flat surface for at least a few minutes to be accurate.
