**Q: Is the material damp proof it looks very light weight?**
A: I've not tested the bags in damp conditions; we bought them to tidy up piles of householed items on shelves,  so there's bedding,  clothing and (I think) some books,  but all indoors.  I would not risk any of that in a damp area,  though the fabric is quite heavy.  The zip is not an airtight seal.

I had one bed where it was possible to put storage underneath. These were perfect for storing towels, bedding & assorted soft clothing. Took a few moments to assemble them & start filling. I was able to generously fill to capacity & still slide them under the bed out of view. Be careful pulling them out from under the bed because they could split if heavy. All in all a good value purchase.
