A: Next where you turn on the power puss down the one next to it and the Vacuum will become horizontal. Hope this helps.

**Q: If I can return this for free if I don't like it; but the details say it must be in "unused" condition, how can I try it out without using it?!??**
A: You should ask Amazon that question. Its a great question and Eureka dodged the question here. You didn't ask about a warranty, you asked if you could return it free if you dont like it. They know what you are asking and dont want to answer the question.

Amazon customer support has always been good with me once you get through all the BS and get to where they will call and talk to you.

This exact thing is why I'm considering buying from a brick and mortar store like Walmart or Lowe's who have generous return policies. Chances are you would have to take this to a UPS store for the free return and thats an hour round trip drive for me.

Please do not buy, I bought this, it was not a uk plug, so I purchased a world plug to use with this product, started to hoover it quickly smelt of burning, I heard the plug socket make a noise, next minute there was a pop sound,flames then smoke, I had to run downstairs turn all my electrics off, my children had to open their bedroom windows and we all had to come down stairs, due to the smoke and smell that also set my fire alarm off. I called amazon about this, all they have done is make a refund, its disgusting. Please do not buy this situation could have been worse, its scared and traumatised my children.
