How does it handle just one layer of light fabric?** A: They are very fast. You need to be careful cutting . Larger pieces ,like batting or heavier fabric cut like butter. Accuracy for smaller pieces of fabric is trickier. **Q: Can that be charged at 220 voltage?** A: My wife just received the one she ordered and there is a cable with a USB-A plug on one end and a mini phone plug on the other. No charger at all. Not a problem as we have a rather extensive collection of chargers left over from obsolete (and discarded) products. If you have a charger that meets the USB spec and is suited to your mains voltage, it will work fine these scissors.
