It feels like you're brushing with a soft brush. The highly dense and thin bristles seem to clean better in tight spots with less effort as well. I got the smaller head so I can reach the back teeth more easily. One thing I wish Kent would introduce is to have a more textured handle or rubber coating/part in the handle. The handle becomes very slippery when it becomes wet with toothpaste residue (I'm a messy brusher...) and had slipped and poked the ceiling of my mouth several times (it hurts!)
