I wound up keeping it in the bag on the floor in my outhouse for a few months, but it was still bone dry and extremely easy to use. I don’t have a whacker plate, and have found that a fair bit of it has blown around the patio or washed out, and worms/insects have crawled up through it in multiple spots bringing mud up with them.
