Not being comfortable with non-OEM products, I searched specifically for an OEM GMC part online. Best I found was $589 before tax. So I thought I'd take a chance. Carparts.com sells an aftermarket for $284 which had good ratings. But I thought I'd try this from desertcart. It was so much cheaper, I had to really make sure I was getting a tail light and not just some kind of frame. But I did, indeed, get a tail light. The whole thing. I thought, "if it goes bad right away, I'll send it back in. Even if it goes bad later, I still could have bought 6 of these for the price of one OEM. It went in perfectly - just like a glove. I had googled how to pull the old out and install the new one. I took the old one out in about 20 minutes because I had a hard time getting it unplugged under the truck. But I installed the new one in less than 5 minutes, including the undercarriage plugin. And, most importantly, it all worked and worked well. Great quality and look. It fits just like the original. I think the brightness is a little better also.
