Review: Won’t leave home without them! - I bought 2 of these for a camping trip with my daughters school I was chaperoning. Was not disappointed. I have a bad back and I was planning on sleeping in my car. I was worried about what kind of shape I’d be in in the morning. These were a life saver! I actually slept quite comfortably in the back of my car and woke up with my back in pretty good shape. Not much worse than normal which was great. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to move in the morning. My daughter actually used it on the ground of a tent and said she slept very well. Her camp mates who were in the same tent said that the ground was really uncomfortable and said they were jealous of my daughters sleeping pad. I should also mention that I am defiantly a plus size person and I had no problems with this mattress. Of course I always could use a bit more width, but this mattress worked just fine. This is super easy to inflate. Literally about 12-15 breaths. I have asthma and this was a piece of cake. My daughter, who also has asthma has no troubles either. Deflating is just as easy. Cory (the owner) sent an email after purchase with tips on deflating the mattress. Just pull the little rubber flap forward through the hole and the mattress begins to deflate instantly. I just rolled it from the bottom into a tube shape, folded into thirds and it fit right back into the carry case it comes with. Very compact and super light. I just stored inside the sleeping bags when we went. I was going to store with my camping gear. But realized they could be so useful in other situations. Like the beach, sitting at picnic tables or bleachers when I want a little more comfort. Even sitting in the back of my car. Also I have had some beds when traveling that have been horrible. These mattresses would have solved those problems. Wish I had them then. As I said before, super light and compact, so I wouldn’t mind traveling with them and adding them to my suitcase. Cory, the owner is very proactive in communication and making sure that is you have any concerns or questions, that he is readily available. I had none as he was so proactive that any questions I might have had were answered almost before I thought of them. I highly recommend this product. I don’t usually write reviews (mostly due to time), however, this product exceeded my expectations so much, that I wanted to let others know that this is money well spent. Hope this helps others when making a decision about purchasing an inflatable mattress.
Review: Good Sleeping Pad, Great Customer Service - Highlights Weight: 14.5 oz Packed Size: 8x3.5” (Around the size of a water bottle) Size: 75x23” Thickness: 2.2” R-value: 2.1 (Better for spring/summer) Material: Ripstop nylon fabric with TPU coating, water and rip resistant Other: 10-15 breaths to inflate, comes with stuff sack, quiet, doesn’t bottom out (unless sitting up), lifetime money-back warranty Background Being new to backpacking, and wanting to get back into camping, I did a lot of research on the supplies I would need to have a great trip. I also love to sleep, so having a sleep system that I would enjoy and help me wake up feeling ready to face the day was important to me. Darwin onthetrail mentioned the Outdoorsman Lab Ultralight Compact Sleeping Pad as a good and affordable option for a sleep system in his “Gear to Lighten your Load on a Budget!” video. He loved it as a cheaper option to the Therm-a-Rest NeoAir Xlite that was still lightweight. That being said, the Sleepingo Camping Sleeping Pad is not only comparable, but it is bigger when inflated while also weighing less when packed. They are also similar in a lot of other ways that make both pads great, such as their material and design. The Sleepingo won out as being a better purchase option, so I decided to give it a try. Review Having used the pad several times now, I am here to say that the ease of use and comfortability is awesome. It is easy to inflate, easy to pack, easy to deflate, and easy to put away. It kept me happy as both a side sleeper and front sleeper and did not bottom out (except when I sat straight up) nor make a lot of noise as I turned at night. It being my first sleeping pad, I was surprised at how well it worked and how comfortable it really was! I would even say it felt similar to an air mattress. The best part, however, was the customer service. I reached out to Sleepingo’s Coy West (coy@sleepingo.com) after losing my sleeping pad, wondering if it would be possible to buy a new one at a discounted price. Not only was his email response prompt and kind, but the refund process for a 25% discount was also handled at a quick pace. I believe that this company does indeed “take pride in [their] perfect customer service record on desertcart” and will not only hold true to their lifetime money-back warranty but to their “promise to treat you like family.” All in all, I am a happy customer and I would definitely recommend this sleeping pad to backpackers and campers alike!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the R value?**
A: This is a 3 season sleeping pad, with a R-value of 2.1 This sleeping pad will keep you WARM AND TOASTY down till freezing temperatures. 32F-40F
We do not recommend using this pad for below freezing temperatures.
HAPPY CAMPING!

**Q: We received a pad that would not stay inflated during its first use. How may we contact the seller to receive a replacement?**
A: I don't know but I certainly don't recommend these. I bought 5 and three leaked. They seem to work if they stay inflated. Another problem is they slide all over the place.

**Q: How is it for side sleeping?**
A: Sleeping pads for backpacking ultimately involve tradeoffs. Virtually any air mattress in this weight range isn't great for side sleepers, and most of that is due to simple physics: at only 2" thick, you have to inflate the mattress until it's relatively hard if you don't want your hip and shoulder to touch the ground. But it's significantly more comfortable than a closed-cell foam pad or a self-inflating pad (save thick self-inflating pads like the Thermarest CampRest that weigh twice as much and take up 3x as much space in your pack). I'm 5'8" 160 lbs., and I find that if I inflate my Sleepingo mattress to the point where my hip and shoulder almost touch the ground, it's still reasonably comfortable when sleeping on my side or on my back. (And it's not too narrow, as another commenter suggested; it's actually wider than most ultralight mattresses/pads that usually are 20" wide in the Regular size.) I have an Exped mattress that is 3" thick, and it's a little more comfortable for side sleeping -- but it weighs a couple of ounces more and it costs 6x as much. I have a Thermarest Neoair Xlite (not the Xlite NXT released a few months ago, which is thicker and lighter but costs even more), and it's 2.5 inches thick and maybe a little better for side sleeping, but it weighs a couple ounces more, cost me 6x as much, and is 2" narrower...and it's very noisy, while the Sleepingo is practically silent. If side sleeping comfort is more important to you than saving 4 oz. or so, and you really don't expect to be sleeping on your back much or are even skinnier than I am (so you won't mind the 20" width), you might want to check out the Big Agnes Air Core Ultra, which I haven't used but is 3.5" thick, but it will cost you 2x or more. But I've been OK with the Sleepingo, sleeping mostly on my side, for several nights in a row. One other thought: It helps with side-sleeping comfort to have a thin (1/8 or 1/4" closed-cell foam pad underneath at least your torso (which a lot of people do anyway to protect ultralight air mattresses from things that might puncture them), so when your hip or shoulder do bottom-out on the air mattress, they still have a little padding between them and the hard ground.

**Q: How hard is it to inflate and deflate, looking for quick and easy option**
A: How do you inflate this thing? I see people saying 10-20 breaths inflates it. Maybe what we got is different. The valve to blow air into is like an inch in diameter, it's hard to get a seal, I put 10 breaths into it and you couldn't tell I put in a single breath and I'm a runner with good lung capacity. This is ridiculous, trying to figure it out but about to return it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Light, easy to inflate and comfortable
*by D***Z on July 20, 2025*

Great choice if you want a very light and easy to inflate mat. I had a Klymit Static mat for many years until it broke. Seeing there are many choices of cheaper mats which weight around the same as the Klymit and are very compact as well, I gave it a try. I just spent my first camping night using this mat and these are my comments: - Inflating and deflating the mat is surprisingly easy and fast. The valve is much simpler than the Klymits but this simplicity makes it work very well. - The comfort is the same as the Klymits. If you are used to camping and sleeping on hard surfaces and without much cushioning, this mat is for you. I like to go on camping trips in which I have to carry everything for many hours, so weight beats comfort. However, if your priority is comfort, buy a thicker mat. - The mat did not loose any air throughout the night, so thumbs up for this! - I'm 5'10" and the sizing is perfect. I never during the night had any part of my body touching the floor. I used two of these mats inside a 2-person REI tent and still had a bit of room to fit my 7 year old son on between both mats. - The only negative point, and the reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5 stars, is that the plastic material seems cheaper than Klymits and this makes it very noisy when you move around at night. If you have a light sleep, this continuous plastic noise will ruin your night. Overall, a very nice mat, light, comfortable and for a very good price.
