It will also perform certain levels of PMI (programmable module installation) which is where the tool will get the information from the old module and write that information on to the new module. Big name brand scan tools that cost thousands of dollars will not complete all of the things that this tool will do. The hardware is also impressive for this tool. It is a corded tool which means you will not be losing any Bluetooth dongles and it will be charging while you are using it. The 7-in screen displays text large enough to easily be read and the graphing is very good. The case on the tool has rubber bumpers so that it can survive being dropped from a reasonable height. The software on the tool is also really well done. The main menu is organized really well and finding information is simple. After a vehicle is scanned you can produce a report and email it to yourself or someone else and it looks very professional. The menus on the tool are labeled properly and if you click on something many times it will have a dialog box that details what that test does and asks you if you want to proceed especially if doing so could cause a problem if done wrong.
