After replacing badly worn struts with some aftermarket struts, I got a "service suspension" light. The replacement struts had plug in sockets that connected to my original harness, but it still coded. I recalibrated ride height, and reset codes several times with the solution not lasting more than two drive cycles. (My old struts did not throw a message). I installed just one set in just the front. So two sets to completely eliminate Magnaride system. I did not do the rear, just the fronts. If so does this need to be done at the time of installation?** A: It is recommended to run a retrim procedure post-installation on SUVs / truck for ALL bypass kits (from any seller) for GM active suspensions. it is a simple procedure that can be done with a snap-on or pretty much any OBD based tool. It only takes minutes and helps to reset the vehicle and stabilize it for maximum ride quality and safety. If you don't have a computer, any shop can do it in about five minutes. if it's a older car like a Corvette etc. you do not need to run a retrim. **Q: Can you remove compressor after these are plugged in so that it never cuts on?** A: Yes, if you have air suspension on the rear axle you can install the simulators on to the 3-pin ride height sensor to simulate a static position so that the compressor does not activate based on the load in the rear of the vehicle. After installing the right height simulators on the rear axle and replacing the air ride with another passive suspension system you just plug the air hoses. The air compressor will still turn on when you start the vehicle but all it will be doing is pressurizing the hoses while ignoring any height changes due to our simulators being plugged in. If you are replacing Magneride struts on the front suspension you will need another kit to bypass the ride height sensors AND the front Magneride struts. **Q: Anything for a 2020 denali 1500?** A: Sierra, Silverado and Denali Trucks 2019-2023 use the Z45 suspension which utilizes a higher power MagneRide system than older GM vehicles. This kit will fit your 2020 Denali, however, we can not guarantee its long term functionality . I purchased these when I was getting a constant warning light about the suspension not working properly. I replaced one at a time and it fixed the problem after the second try.
