Designed for professional-grade mechanical work, this compact set offers ergonomic handling and corrosion resistance, making it an essential upgrade for any serious toolkit. ## Description A rounded-out hex screw usually means one thing: the tool didn't grip enough of the screw head to begin with. The Wera 950/9 Hex-Plus Multicolour Imperial 2 set solves that at the source. Hex-Plus geometry increases the contact surface inside the screw head, letting you apply as much as 20% more torque before the recess deforms β€” while still fitting every standard hexagon socket screw. The ball tip on the long arm adds a second advantage: it lets you swivel the key off-axis for angled, around-the-corner driving in assemblies where a straight hex key simply won't line up. This 9-piece imperial set covers 5/64"" through 3/8"" β€” sizes suited to bicycles, small machinery, electronics enclosures, and other imperial-fastener applications in the smaller-to-mid range. Each key is color coded under Wera's Take it easy system with wear-resistant size markings, so you grab the right size without checking every key individually. The circular-material design with a thermoplastic sleeve keeps the grip comfortable even in cold workshop conditions, and a wear-resistant clip holds each key firmly in the set while still allowing quick, one-handed removal. It's a complete, ready-to-grab hex key system built to protect both your fasteners and your hands. ## Features - STOPS SCREWS FROM ROUNDING OUT: Hex-Plus geometry increases contact with the screw head, letting you apply up to 20% more torque before the recess strips or slips. - REACH SCREWS AT AN ANGLE: The spherical ball tip on the long arm lets you tilt the key off-axis, so you can drive fasteners in tight or awkward spots a straight hex key can't reach. - GRAB THE RIGHT SIZE INSTANTLY: Each key is color coded by size with the Take it easy system, so you find the one you need without checking labels one by one. - MARKINGS THAT DON'T WEAR OFF: Wear-resistant size stamps stay legible after years of shop use, unlike printed labels on cheaper sets that fade or rub away. - COMFORTABLE GRIP IN ANY CONDITION: The easy-to-grip plastic sleeve stays comfortable even at low temperatures, and the wear-resistant clip holds each key securely yet releases easily. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08XTW2Q2D | | Best Sellers Rank | #323,990 in Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Home Improvement ) #576 in Combination Wrenches | | Brand Name | Wera | | Colour | Multicolour | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars (1,395) | | Finish Types | Brushed | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04013288219107 | | Head Style | Hex | | Included Components | 950 SPKL/9 SZ LONG ARM HEX KEY SET (SB Package Clip NEW) | | Item Length | 9.65 Inches | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item Torque | 1 Centimeter Kilograms | | Item Type Name | 950 SPKL/9 SZ LONG ARM HEX KEY SET (SB Package Clip NEW) | | Item Weight | 0.07 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Wera Tools | | Manufacturer Part Number | 05022640001 | | Material Type | Metal | | Measurement Standard | SAE | | Model Number | 4013288219107 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Operation Mode | Mechanical | | Set Name | 950/9 Hex-Plus Multicolour Imperial 2 L-Key Set | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Wera - **Colour:** Multicolour - **Item Length:** 9.65 Inches - **Item Weight:** 0.07 Kilograms - **Material:** Metal ## Images ![Wera 05022640001-950/9 Hex-Plus Multicolour Imperial 2 L-Key Set, Imperial, BlackLaser, 9 Pieces - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51qs+43EqkS.jpg) ![Wera 05022640001-950/9 Hex-Plus Multicolour Imperial 2 L-Key Set, Imperial, BlackLaser, 9 Pieces - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31YMtrzw3WS.jpg) ![Wera 05022640001-950/9 Hex-Plus Multicolour Imperial 2 L-Key Set, Imperial, BlackLaser, 9 Pieces - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41u7G+kDnwL.jpg) ![Wera 05022640001-950/9 Hex-Plus Multicolour Imperial 2 L-Key Set, Imperial, BlackLaser, 9 Pieces - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41DdzSdMgHS.jpg) ![Wera 05022640001-950/9 Hex-Plus Multicolour Imperial 2 L-Key Set, Imperial, BlackLaser, 9 Pieces - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41Y9n4CGH5S.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: what is the difference between a 1 L key and 2 L key or 3 L key set?** A: At least between the "1 L-Key" and "2 L-Key" sets, on Wera's website the part list for both seem to be exactly the same, except for the pouch. It SEEMS that the 1, 2, and 3 do not refer to a quantity, but an identifier for the various sets of each. Looking in their catalog, there are some that go as high as 7. So I think the number part of the the name more refers to "Multicolour Imperial 2", as opposed to "2 L-Key". **Q: In what country are they manufactured ?** A: Wera is a good German tools company, so they are manufactured in Germany. ## Frequently Bought Together - 950 SPKL/9 SZ LONG ARM HEX KEY SET (SB Package Clip NEW) - Wera Tools 05073593001 950 SPKL/9 SM N SB Long ARM HEX Key Set, One Size, Multi - Wera 05024179001 Torx L-Key Set 967 Sl/9 with Holding Function,MULTI --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/455236508-wera-05022640001-950-9-hex-plus-multicolour-imperial-2-l](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/455236508-wera-05022640001-950-9-hex-plus-multicolour-imperial-2-l) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
