This summer 2024 our second summer with the robot and still works great. It works so well I am questioning the need for the pool company I hire every summer. My pool is 20’x40’ and it does a great job cleaning it. The picture are for today July 2nd, we had fireworks at the house which left a massive mess in the pool. I turned on the Dolphin to start cleaning after the fireworks, then the normal 5 am clean this morning. I was so surprised as to how clean it was when I woke up. Still some debris in the pool but I think that is all due to the wind blowing it in to the pool from the grass during the day. I am also on the second season with my Betta (surface skimmer) these two in conjunction keep my pool super clean. I must say I find the Dolphin filter to be way better than my sand filter! I am a big fan of pool robots!!! Review: Bot does a great job of cleaning the pool. Very happy with function/performance. It did have an error and stop working after 6 months. The 3yr warranty is great, and Maytronics is happy to repair it. But - you will need to pay for shipping to them, so factor that cost into your calculations. After forum searches when trying to troubleshoot - I determined that these often have issues like mine. I originally thought it might be corrosion of the twist cable (as that is common.) However, mine only had minor non-impacting corrosion. I had been expensing loads of energy and wasted time dragging the hose around for a couple months to vacuum my pool. This unit was truly the best investment I made since deciding to put in my pool. Cleans the pool thoroughly, including the side walls up to the water’s edge within 3hrs which allows me time to do other things. Easy to clean and stow. My only disappointment is the Bluetooth capabilities and mobile app have limited features, are not the greatest and don’t work very well.
