Review: Great for fragrant carpet with ruining your expensive vacuum! - I'm really impressed with this product. I'd never seen it before but it came up in desertcart Pantry so I thought I'd give it a go. Like many of us now I use a bagless vacuum that has filters that you shouldn't mix with traditional powder carpet fresheners so I'm always in two minds whether to risk it or scrub the carpet with proper cleaners. First things first, establish where the product exits the canisters, don't be a duffus like me and assume it's like air freshener, it's not it comes out of the top, as I realised after spraying the mantelpiece, fire and surround!! Fortunately it evaporates so I didn't rub it, I left it and it went without me smearing it everywhere. Secondly decide your spraying strategy, I went from the end of the room backwards so as not to step on it whilst it soaks in to the fabric. It looks like a foam explosion but is dissolves quickly enabling you to vacuum almost straight away. Remember to move pet/child products out of the way as it does attach to everything and though I'm sure it's not deadly, children and pets have a habit of using their mouths as hands so they probably wouldn't appreciate the taste! The fragrance is lovely and light and it does linger for a while, also it does no harm to your expensive vacuum and probably helps make the bristles smell a little nicer! I hope this review is useful, even if it makes you giggle about my lack of common sense! Any questions please ask above and I'll respond if desertcart nudge me via email! Review: Lovely scent and works well - I love the smell of this, I try and keep one on hand to get rid of any cooking smells that linger or even just to freshen up the place. Bit satisfying spraying it all over the place so you can see where you’ve sprayed it but it disappears quite quickly so you’re not looking like you’ve had a foam party in your living room. ## Features - Eliminates all types of everyday hidden odours without the need to vacuum - Penetrates deep down into the carpet fibres instantly neutralising trapped odours - The foam dries in just five minutes - Contains no bleaching agents and is safe to use on all types of carpets including wool ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01CHSBHD6 | | Best Sellers Rank | #202,330 in Health ( See Top 100 in Health ) #115 in Household Carpet Deodorizers | | Brand | 1001 | | Brand Name | 1001 | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 147 Reviews | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item form | Liquid | | Manufacturer | 1001 Carpet Care | | Material Type Free | Bleach Free | | Material type free | Bleach Free | | Model Number | 104569277 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | 104569277 | | Scent | Thai Orchid and Passion Fruit | | Unit Count | 300 Milliliters | | Unit count | 300 Milliliters | ## Product Details - **Scent:** Thai Orchid and Passion Fruit - **Brand:** 1001 - **Item form:** Liquid - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Unit count:** 300 millilitre ## Images ![Thai Orchid and Passion Fruit Carpet Fresh, 300 ml - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/616xtY7AvhS.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for fragrant carpet with ruining your expensive vacuum! *by T***R on 2 December 2016* I'm really impressed with this product. Very shocked at the price - I've never paid more than £1 so was expecting a jumbo size can but it was just the standard size. ## Frequently Bought Together - 1001 Carpet Care 1001 Thai Orchid and Passion Fruit Carpet Fresh, 300 ml - Zoflora Midnight Blooms Carpet Freshener & Care Foam, 1 x 600ml, Carpet Cleaner, Stain Remover Foam for Carpets and Upholstery, Neutralises Odours, Deep Cleans, Pet Safe --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/454476913-thai-orchid-and-passion-fruit-carpet-fresh-300-ml](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/454476913-thai-orchid-and-passion-fruit-carpet-fresh-300-ml) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
