Size 5 is supposed to be able to hold slightly more than size 4,, but I’ve never tried size 5 so I can’t confirm if that’s accurate. Size 4 does work for me for heavy flows, BUT in my opinion the suggested amount of time it should “last” before having to change it (I believe it’s 10 hours) is a huge overestimate, I would say on a heavy flow day it should last maybe 4 hours (when awake & active) and may last you overnight but will possibly leak when you sit or stand up… but that can happen with any pad regardless of brand or size. These do stay snug & in place, are a good length & are very comfortable to wear, as well as being unnoticeable through clothes.
