I didn't know that until after i had it assembled. on the pickups, the neck pickup from edge to edge of the electrodes is 54 mm, the rear are about 56-57 mm. yellow pickups are to the bridge. the bridge hardware, I tapped into place with a rubber mallet until they were flush. the 12 string neck sits down pretty far from the strings. I put cardboard card stock under it. 2- 3x5 cards cut to fit in the neck area. it brought the strings to perfect height. screw the necks down, install the pickups, string it and jam. I hope this helps. **Q: Does the wiring come pre-wired?** A: Yes **Q: How wide is the body?** A: The width of the body is approx 40cm(15.75'') **Q: Does it matter which neck is on top or bottom** A: Yes. I'm having a vendor paint my kit and wanted to switch the 6 neck to the 12 position so I could add a Bigsby to it.
