Review: So practical and fraction of the cost - This is perfect for amateur outdoor trips through the Rockies. I didn’t want to invest in an expensive walkie-talkie, but I also didn’t like that most entry-level walkies still rely on AAA/AA batteries, which are inconvenient to buy and replace while outdoors. This walkie was exactly what I needed—it charges via USB-C, which is super convenient and easy to find almost anywhere these days. The charge holds up well, I recharge them every 1.5-2 days, not bad at all when it’s always in use. Decent range coverage. My group got split up one trail down which was about a mile and we’re still able to connect. My hiking group did lose one of the units, but I’d absolutely repurchase this for future adventures. It’s reliable and practical! ## Features - Compatible with Any Walkie Talkies Radio - With 22 FRS channels, 121 privacy codes to choose from NXGKET walkie talkies 2 pack. The control buttons have multi purposes, which can be confusing. I thought of that after I ordered them. My bad. Other than that, I like them. They are light weight, attractive, and relatively easy to use. I've dropped mine several times and they are still working. As I said, not bad for the money. ## Frequently Bought Together - NXGKET Walkie Talkies Long Rnage for Adults NOAA Wether Alert, Rechargeable Walkie Talkie 2 Way Radios 22 Channels VOX Scan with Li-ion Battery USB-C Cable Family Camping Hiking, 2 Pack - Mini Karaoke Machine, Portable Bluetooth Karaoke Speaker with 2 Wireless Microphones and Party Lights for Kids and Adults, Birthday Gifts for Girls Boys Family Home Party --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/453150641-nxgket-5-miles-walkie-talkies-long-rnage-usb-c-rechargeable](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/453150641-nxgket-5-miles-walkie-talkies-long-rnage-usb-c-rechargeable) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
