## Description

Specifications: Material: metal Grommet Outside Diameter: 1/2 inch Grommet Inside Diameter: 6.4mm, nearly 1/4 inch Grommet Flange Width: ~3mm Package Content: - 400pcs gold and silver Metal Eyelets - 400pcs Washers - 1x Portable Handheld Manual Grommet Pliers Features: - Carbon steel construction and special anti-friction plastic material, durable and easy holding - Easy to use and portable, can be put in the kit to take to any place - With the correct opening angle, you can press it by only one hand - Manual eyelet puncher in light weight is very easy to take and convenient to use because of its redirecting transmission Usage Instructions & Key Warnings:- Intended Use: This is a light-duty, decorative grommet kit. It is ideal for materials 1-3mm thick such as leather, paper, cardstock, thin tarps, and elastic bands. It is NOT designed for heavy pulling. - Material Warning: Do not use on foam board, fabric, cloth, or any heavy-duty applications. These materials can damage the tool and will not yield good results. - Mandatory First Step: You MUST punch a pilot hole before setting the eyelet. The grommets themselves are not designed to puncture material. Attempting to do so will damage them and the pliers. - Correct Operation: Always follow the manual for the correct orientation of the grommet, washer, and pliers. Applying firm, even pressure is sufficient. Excessive force or incorrect alignment will bend the pliers' handle. - For a Secure Hold: Always use the included washer with every eyelet. This is essential for making the connection strong and preventing it from loosening. - Note on Design: The bottom of the eyelet is designed to flare out (a "flowering" effect). This is normal and not a product defect.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this fit 4mm (5/32inch) paracord?**
A: Probably, but the metal is real thin and light. I, personally, would only use these grommets for decoration. I wanted to use them for purse straps and the metal is so thin that I was afraid the material would not hold with any weight in the purse. Kinda, defeats the purpose. I hope this helps.

**Q: What size wing nut and screw will go through this**
A: 1/4 inch. I used it to fix a dog collar. So not really sure about a wing nut. But the size is accurate

**Q: Assuming it will be durable enough to last, can I buy replacement grommets for this tool?**
A: Yes, you can just go to Amazon Search and type in - 1/2'' replacement grommets for sale - and you will find 1000S of them for sale.

**Q: Can the actual tool be used with any size grommets?**
A: No. Grommet pliers are made to fit one size of pliers. There are many different sizes to choose from. Hope this helps.
