Fills the joints fully so the blocks lock together and stop shifting - 💨 FREE-FLOWING & READY TO USE - Kiln drying removes the moisture, so the sand pours straight from the bag and runs down into narrow joints instead of clumping on the surface. No mixing, no water - 🌱 ARTIFICIAL GRASS INFILL - Fine dry grain brushes down between the fibres to weigh the turf down, help it stand upright and stop it creasing. Spread evenly and brush against the pile - 📐 COVERAGE PER 20KG BAG - 50mm blocks approx 7.6 m², 60mm blocks approx 5.6 m², 80mm blocks approx 4.4 m² - ✅ MEETS BS 7533-3 - Medium grade 250 micron sub-angular grain in a non-staining buff colour, compliant with BS 7533-3:2005 Table D.4. Free draining, so rainwater runs through the joints instead of pooling ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0B697QNVR | | Best Sellers Rank | 120,608 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 25 in Sand (DIY & Tools) | | Brand Name | AP Automotive | | Colour | Buff | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (309) | | Grade Rating | Medium | | Included Components | Kiln Sand | | Item Dimensions | 52 x 37 x 9 centimetres | | Item Form | Granular | | Item Highlight | Buff Colour | Non-Staining | Free Draining | Fine 250 Micron Grain | BS 7533-3 | | Item Shape | Rectangular | | Item Weight | 20 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | ap automotive | | Material | Sand | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | GKS-ASH | | Specification Met | BS 7533-3:2005 Table D.4 | | Unit Count | 20000.0 gram | ## Product Details - **Brand:** AP Automotive - **Colour:** Buff - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 52 x 37 x 9 centimetres - **Material:** Sand - **Shape:** Rectangular ## Images ![Kiln Dried Sand 20kg for Block Paving, Patios & Artificial Grass - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41QyYu0o6IL.jpg) ![Kiln Dried Sand 20kg for Block Paving, Patios & Artificial Grass - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41qIFGNwt9L.jpg) ![Kiln Dried Sand 20kg for Block Paving, Patios & Artificial Grass - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/512e4695dIL.jpg) ![Kiln Dried Sand 20kg for Block Paving, Patios & Artificial Grass - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51Fc0+My6SL.jpg) ![Kiln Dried Sand 20kg for Block Paving, Patios & Artificial Grass - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51l6yJPbWZL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Item Package Quantity** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Kiln Dried Sand 20kg Poly Bag - Gallant 5.5ft Free Standing Punch Bag-Heavy Duty Pedestal Stand Boxing Bag for Kickboxing Martial Arts MMA Dummy Muay Thai Home Gym Training Equipment for Men and Women --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/452060736-kiln-dried-sand-20kg-for-block-paving-patios-and-artificial](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/452060736-kiln-dried-sand-20kg-for-block-paving-patios-and-artificial) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
