He wears them once a week for 15 mins before bed, and he always says the foot masks relieve a lot of the pain and dryness he has been expirience. It doesn't necessarily reverse the damage, but it makes the symptoms not so bad and restores some moisture to his heels and callus. They aren't too thick, but the foot masks are also not paper thin. They have a lot of moisture to them, and do not rip easy. I wouldn't say the smell is bad, to me it is not noticable, but our kids mention that dad's feet smells like diaper rash cream, lol. Will be buying again when on sale, as the price is too high for a few pairs of masks.
