Packaged in a vacuum-sealed, resealable bag with desiccant, this filament stays dry and tangle-free, ensuring consistent, high-precision results every time. ## Description PolyMide CoPA is a high-performance nylon copolymer based on Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6. It combines strength, toughness, impact resistance and reliable layer adhesion for functional parts that need to withstand repeated handling, vibration and mechanical stress. Unlike carbon fiber or glass fiber-reinforced nylon, CoPA is not designed primarily for maximum stiffness. It can flex under load before breaking, making it suitable for gears, brackets, clips, housings, protective components and other durable mechanical parts where resistance to sudden brittle failure is important. Polymaker’s Warp-Free technology helps reduce warping without requiring a heated chamber. Recommended settings include a nozzle temperature of 250–270°C, a build plate temperature of 25–50°C, a printing speed of 30–50 mm/s and the cooling fan turned off. Keep the chamber and ambient temperature below 50°C for the technology to perform as intended. CoPA is highly hygroscopic. Wet filament may produce popping sounds, excessive stringing, bubbles, rough surfaces and inconsistent extrusion. If moisture is suspected, dry the filament at 80°C for 10 hours and print directly from a dry box whenever possible. Store unused filament in a sealed container below 20% relative humidity. For improved crystallization and thermal performance, anneal printed parts at 80°C for 6 hours. The TDS lists a heat deflection temperature of 111°C at 0.45 MPa and 70°C at 1.8 MPa, together with a Vicat softening temperature of 180°C. These values should not be interpreted as a guaranteed continuous-use temperature. Overhangs and same-material supports may be difficult to remove. Design parts to minimize support structures or use a compatible soluble support when appropriate.
