I don't have a common hot and cold tap (mixer) in my bath tub. And those taps don't have the kind of grooves it would fit on to. I ended up not being able to use it for the bathroom shower application, had to buy a different one as not all thread sizes were right. Didn't fit my standard bath mixer taps and shower hoses. I suspect it may fit a kitchen sink mixer faucet instead. Not a criticism of the product, my fault for not double-checking exactly the size of each hose I wanted to connect first.
