Review: great little hippo - My six year old has listened to "I want a hippopotamus for christmas" about 2000 times over the last 3 years. She loves the song and so does my 1 year old. So for Christmas this year, this little guy was in the middle of the room w/ a big red bow. They got a kick out of it and the one year old hugged it right away and many times since. There are more cartoonish ones out there, but we had those- and that's not what the songs about. The song is about a real live hippo, and this resembles that while managing to be somewhat cute. It's actually pretty firm to the touch and seems to be well made.
