I washed the filter with a running tap for about 5min or more before use and the water taste good. **Q: How do you fit the filter cartridge** A: Hi Lorry... The filter has a sort of bayonet fitting (like a light bulb) underneath and you just twist it into place. The actual fitting of the cartridge starts at a slight angle and once inserted it ends up in line with the spout and the handle.
