Quality built, compact and easy to store. Easy to read display. Small, not an in your face scale. blends in seamlessly with its surroundings. Very accurate and reliable. The scale is made of quality, liquid resistant materials of food grade quality and easy to clean and maintain. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Batteries included, slim, low profile, grams/ ounces. Nice, easy to read. *by M***I on August 13, 2026* So this was smaller than my previous Basics kitchen food scale, but I believe it is lower profile and easier to store in a drawer. It weighs food by digital grams and ounces… as versatile as anyone would need to weigh food I guess.. The tare function is useful in cancelling the weight of the bowl or plate you are using to hold the food you are weighing, so you don’t have to factor in the total weight of whatever you need portioned. The numbers are somewhat easier to see than other scales IMHO, or at least the digital scales I used to own anyway. The quality feels higher as well. One note is that the two AAA batteries came already installed, and the best part was that it was separated by a plastic tab that you pull out. How is that for connectivity? What a great idea! ## Frequently Bought Together - Etekcity Food Kitchen Scale, Digital Mechanical Weighing Scale,Grams and Ounces for Weight Loss, Baking, Cooking, Keto and Meal Prep, Large, Matte Black - Etekcity Smart Scale for Body Weight FSA HSA Store Eligible, Bathroom Digital Weighing Scale with BMI, Body Fat, Muscle Mass, Accurate Bluetooth Home User Health Equipment Sync Apps --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/449311436-etekcity-food-kitchen-scale-digital-grams-and-ounces-large](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/449311436-etekcity-food-kitchen-scale-digital-grams-and-ounces-large) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
