Review: Great product within one minor caution. - Beautifully designed and built. Great value for the money. Works very well in almost all positions. The one position that really doesn’t work is lying in bed with your book, iPad, etc., suspended above you. The two spring clips just aren’t strong enough or large enough to hold anything with any weight above you. A large rubber band across the top of a book might make it work.
Review: Great stand - I have neck issues and needed to get something to hold books/iPad/Kindle more at eye height so I’m not looking down so much. This was what I hoped for. The instruction photos are quite clear, you don’t need the ESL written instructions at all. I found that all hex screws can be adjusted to give both swivel points just the amount of swing ease I want. Some complain that the arm that attaches to the base pole does not rotate around the pole. It does not, but if you wanted to, it’s easy enough to make it so. I just attached a hose clamp (with some foam underneath it) under where it sits on the pole, removed the knob that tightened it to the pole, and now it rotates around the pole too. It took less than 2 minutes (photo attached). I’m sure there is a more elegant solution, but this works for now. BUT, keep in mind that they designed NOT to rotate around the pole for a reason. When you rotate the main arm in a direction opposite to the legs, it will tip. True, this modification allows for greater range of movement, but you still must end up so that most of the weight is on the leg side of the stand. Sure enough, after happily reading with it for a while, I was swinging it out of the way, it tipped mid swing ( as I knew it was likely to) but I didn’t catch it before it tipped enough to knock over a cup of coffee I had on a table nearby. So modify it at your peril lol. But it’s a nice stand, fits under chair and couch, and has enough adjustments and swivels nicely. I only gave 4 stars because I think it’s pricey at $100, but maybe I’m just living in the past..

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid, quality book stand

Solid book stand, I use mine next to my recliner, I keep my Bible on it for easy access. The arm swings out of the way well, the height is adjustable with a set screw, and the head tilt adjusts so I can read no matter where I need to be sitting. The book arms hold well with little slippage. It’s a nice sturdy book stand, it’s not lite, but not overly heavy either. The coating has held up well with daily use. It seemed a bit pricey when I ordered it, but it’s certainly worth every penny.
