There really isn’t “padding” but the strap is excellent and sewn on well. I have absolutely no intention to get something different! Love it! I think I’ve had it about a month now, and take it off and put it back on almost daily. Still looks new! It fits perfectly and is not a sloppy fit (even if the pic may seem that way lol) Definitely recommend!!!

This cover fits my Cricut Maker 4 perfectly!!! The quality is great and keeps the dust of the machine! There really isn’t “padding” but the strap is excellent and sewn on well.
