Review: Do not put this in the dishwasher - This is to replace an identical item. It worked great. However, through negligence the prior mug was put in the dishwasher. This resulted in the image melting. My wife, a professional artist, loved it for its quirkiness and the iconic picture. So I purchased this to be its replacement. It is exactly as advertised. OBTW, it is cheap enough that if I need to replace it again, I will.

**Q: When will the item be in stock again?**
A: Thanks for reaching out! We are hoping to have it back in stock before the end of the year.

**Q: The film has started peeling off the top, but the color still changes underneath. How important is the top layer/could I remove it?**
A: This my second color changing mug with Bob Ross.  The first one, unfortunately, went through the dishwasher which is a big no-no.  It lost its protective film and soon the color changing went, too.

**Q: Many customers have complained of chipping and peeling. Has this problem been resolved?**
A: Hi,
The mug was a gift, but the recipient hasnt complained, so far ( it has been 6 weeks), and I think he would let me know if there had been problems.

**Q: Will you have it back in stock for christmas?**
A: Yes we have it back in stock!...  It became available again tonight... but will be depleted quickly...
