Review: Possibly great. I would not take this with anything else that thins blood. - (This is not being offered as medical advice but only experience. The type of disease was withheld to additionally make it difficult to interpret this as medical advice.) I took this when I had a significant medical issue although my doctor semi-recommended against it, I monitored intake of anything that contained sugar (excluding anything with a high glycemic index), took 1 baby aspirin/day as often as I felt comfortable with doing so, ate some foods that had blood thinning qualities like cabbage, light amounts vitamin D3, kept my caloric input steady throughout the day and tried to have a very very *slow* weight loss through the several weeks of treatment which occurred every weekday for several weeks. I also exercise before and after eating to ensure the lowest peak blood sugar level. That was two years ago and I am still free of my (male only) disease. On a significant negative side, the whites of my eyes began turning yellow one day - which I interpreted as liver stress/failure. Since I was taking this along with mild doses of aspirin and eating cabbage, garlic extract, Resveratrol, vitamin C, vitamin D3, very small mounts of vitamin B complex, iron.... After dropping all of these "drugs" for a couple of days, I returned to taking them but I cut out taking the Resveratrol/aspirin/ EGCg on the same day and alternated. Although I have no evidence/proof that what I did made me free of the disease, and there appeared to be some potential/real toxicity/risk to taking a variety of these "drugs", I am glad I did. And I am even more glad that I was quick to recognize a possible symptom of something that might have made the situation much worse. There may have been other "unseen" toxic symptoms that were not noticed due to daily treatments wearing me down. I may have been lucky. Again, this is not being offered as medical advice but only reporting experience. The type of disease was withheld to additionally make it difficult to interpret this as medical advice for a disease/condition. For medical advice, see your doctor.
Review: Great brand and product - This brand produces really high quality and affordable products. The pills smell like green tea (great sign!) with no taste/aftertaste. I keep mine in the fridge so it lasts longer. I have no side effects and I love the clean ingredients. Just take 1 cap in the morning consistently for results! Great endothelial protection.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: what percent Polyphenols ?**
A: 392mg Polyphenols322mg Catechins200mg EGCg4 mg caffeineI obtained this information from product-test results from an independent research company called consumerlab.com It has been worth the paid subscription to learn about the supplements and see which ones stand up to their claims, and which ones have the most or best forms of an active ingredient. Anyhoo, this product tested as the most cost-effective as well as the most amount of EGCg per serving. They tied though with COSTCO's True Nature version of the same. The main diff is that the COSTCO version contains 24.5mg caffeine per cap. Also, I don't want to freak anyone out that may be taking another good EGCg supplement; so here were the other brands that WERE quality tested: Andrew Lessmans, Gaia, Healthy Origins Teavigo, Life Extension, Nature'sBounty, New Chapter, Solgar, Swanson, Puritan Pride, Vitamin World. They all passed. Omega sports Green Tea did not. The actual EGCg was only 38% of what they listed, and the daily dose contained 1-1.5 mcg, which exceeds the lead limit for safety in a daily dosage. Enzymatic Therapy failed also, but only due to having 83 rather than 100% of their advertised EGCg content. It may be too much info, but hopefully it will be helpful for many.

**Q: What is the difference between NOW Foods EGCg Green Tea Extract 400mg and Now green tea extract 400mg**
A: NOW Foods EGCG has a greater percentage of the product as EGCG instead of other antioxidants found in NOW Foods Green Tea Extract 400mg.

**Q: Is this epicatechin?**
A: EGCg is EpiGalloCatechin gallate. It is a type of catechin that is found in green tea.

**Q: I saw a review or two that mentioned the capsules were very large and hard to swallow. Could someone who owns these please measure?**
A: Hello, They are 7/8" long and 1/4" wide, soft capsules I have had no trouble swallowing at all.
