Not sure what anyone complaining unless they just never had it before, its the same thing I grew up on with crack seed plums, i put this on dried mango, so good! ASPERTAME. Why something like this would have an artificial sweetener in it I have no idea. You know that taste after drinking a diet soda? 1 tablespoon in my guava rib bbq sauce was enough to have an aftertaste after you swallow. Its very difficult to read the package ingredients and would never have thought to check for artificial sweeteners for something that claims to be authentic. Second, VERY EXPENSIVE. Ive now found you can just find a recipe for Li Hing powder online and make your own much cheaper with real cane sugar. Problem solved. Third....no returns. So if its awful. Too bad, you are out the $10 AND whatever you have seasoned with it. Not worth the risk.
